Missions
and Social Justice: QPCC is dedicated to serving the needs
of our church community, local charities, social service organizations,
and global ministries. Opportunities to serve in some way, (cooking,
sewing, driving, etc.) are always at hand.
Quincy Crisis Center: As
a Meal-A-Month Sponsor for the “Faith Covenant Meal – Hot Meal Program”
of the Quincy Crisis Center, Quincy Point Congregational Church members
and friends prepare a meal for 65-70 people every first Thursday of
the month. This free, nutritious noon meal is served every weekday in
Quincy Center and feeds over 11,000 people annually with no sign ups
or pre-qualifications involved. We are pleased to join other local individuals,
churches, businesses and civic groups and organizations in helping to
further the Quincy Crisis Center’s mission of serving the needs of marginalized
and forgotten people while promoting social justice, biblical compassion
and solidarity with the hungry, the hurting and the homeless poor. Please
contact a member of the Mission Committee or the church office to volunteer.
Basketball:
QPCC sponsors 6 Church League Youth Basketball Teams. Contact Coach
Don DeCristofaro for more information.
Altar and
Flowers: The beauty of our sanctuary is enhanced by God’s gift
of flowers. To give altar flowers for Sunday worship, sign up outside
the church office.
Our Television
Ministry: Sunday Worship is broadcast on Quincy Cable Channel
8 at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday Nights. This outreach ministry program is
produced by the Diaconate.
Quincy Point
Congregational Church Homes, Inc., known by its address, 1000
Southern Artery, was built by the church for its senior members. Transportation
is provided so that residents can worship with us and attend special
events. Rev. Suzedell also conducts a monthly communion service in the
Chapel.
Special
Events are held throughout the year. The Church Fair, Concert
Series, Advent Workshop and the Community Carol Sing are annual favorites.
Other Groups

Shore Camera Club, Boy Scouts of America and the Daughters of Scotia.
